Here's futekiya's license announcements from their AX panel, per ANN:

Achira Kochira Bokura (no, Are kara to Kore kara), Thanat
Zenin Kiritsu! Shiritsu BL Gakuen Koutou-Gakkou ~Tachibana × Mizuki hen~, Shinta Harekawa
Mahoroba Eden, Fujitobi
My Sweet Home, Miu Kouda
Maou no Musuko wa Sunao ni Narenai!, Akira Sasayama
Satsuki Matsu, Masaru Masa
Iu koto Kiite, Sensei, Megane
My Only Doggy, echo
Utakata Calendar, Ayako Muro
Koi wo Egakeba Iro ga Saku, Shota Kon
Noid~Ai no Sukuu Hoshi~, Poteto Ueno
Yoru ni Kin no Ame no Furu, Kobato Omori
Neko Nante Itsumo Kimagure, Sachi Murakami
Yakimochi wa Kitsune-iro, Machi Suehiro
Gotsugou Simulation, Suiyoubi
Sweetie Agape, Poteto Yamamori

I haven't looked much at the covers for these since I didn't watch the panel, but it looks like at least a few of these are sequels or maybe spinoffs to already licensed titles?

Also Tokyopop licensed Shoko Rakuta's I'm Looking for Serious Love! and a seinen title by Niboshiko Arai under her non-bl pen name Ayako Noda, which is very much of interest to me if not necessarily relevant to anyone else's reading interests 😆.

It looks like Kuma's picked up another one of Renta's titles, this time Tomo Kurahashi's Sick.

Brings back memories...one of the first BLs I've read.

In other news, Futekiya has licensed Dakaichi, as well as a bunch of (seemingly classic/Doritos-style BLs from Be x Boy)

People say classic, I just say old, though maybe I'm wrong. There is one title being promoted on twitter right now that looks absolutely ancient, but surely it's not that old if they're promoing like a new title.

They also look like much of Sublime's early lineup, so I wonder if that's just what Libre offers to new publishing partners.

Feels like...hey if you'll license Dakaichi we'll bundle all these old titles we doubt would even sell 😂

Or "if you want Dakaichi, you gotta take these 20 ancient titles too" 😂. Though it's possible they're not ancient, they're just by artists who haven't changed their style since they started 20+ years ago (like Kou Fujisaki), but I kinda doubt it, at least for some titles.

Eh, we'll see. I'm sure I'll read some of them in all their tropeyness, but there isn't anything I'm looking forward to. I'm more hopeful about future possibilities (from different mags) with Libre.

Hoping for something from Be Boy P at least (a.k.a. the "modern-looking" one) since the Honto staff's been hyping Delivery Hug Therapy.

Seven Seas licensed all three of MXTX's completed novel series and gave them their own special website. It'll be interesting to see if they sell well, esp since fan translations have been circulating for ages.

@jessinbooks Well, as of right now, MDZS and TGCF are number 8 & 9 in books on amazon, and SVSSS is number 14. We'll see if that holds up, especially since the last volume of TGCF (the longest of the three) is set to release in March 2023.

I think the little site they made is very nice, mostly because they've very helpfully gathered links for all the official releases of the adaption at the bottom

Keeping this thread alive by sharing the good news about Blue Sky Complex...

Ikebukuro, Japan – futekiya, the online Boys’ Love (BL) manga subscription service, is delighted to announce the license acquisition of Kei Ichikawa’s Blue Sky Complex Volumes 1-6 and Blue Sky Complex Indigo Blue no Gradation from Tokyomangasha.

Blue Sky Complex is a tender BL manga that follows the budding relationship and romance between Motochika Narasaki, a diligent student, and Natsuki Terashima, an infamous delinquent, through high school and into university. Indigo Blue no Gradation contains previously unpublished stories about Narasaki and Terashima, along with many extras.

Not really a new license announcement but maybe a start to one.

Animate is going to be publishing their own stuff?? That was Sublime's territory wasn't it?

Sublime can only put out so many titles and they don't just work with Libre, no reason not to give it a go. Shu-cream (which is related to Shodensha in a way I don't understand) is also gonna be releasing English ebooks and Ichijinsha is soliciting suggestions for titles to be translated.

I have no idea how the quality will turn out, but I am interested in what titles are on tap.

Speaking of Animate going into ebooks, their first two licenses are apparently Kabukicho Bad Trip and Lala no Kekkon, official announcement due tomorrow.

I'm really gonna need them to not just pick whatever hit the top of various lists the last two years, though. Tsuta Suzuki qrted Libre's announcement about having books in English, I have my fingers very firmly crossed that just maybe Barbarities might finally get licensed.
