A bittersweet and mature-feeling story of struggling with a complex connection. It’s very well-crafted and treats its characters with empathy even when they do and say things that hurt each other… And it has an uplifting end. Very nice, a good read.

Many BL manga are about the beginning of a romance, so stories that are about the end or the crisis in a relationship are quite rare. Here we have a couple of “friends” who seem to be close to the end, but who need to deal with the feelings stuck inside their chest until the end of the trip. Each new chapter presents a crucial and overwhelming fact about their relationship. Is the last stop really the end of everything? Just reading to find out.
