Like all short story collections, this is a mixed bag. Some of these stories I would happily read full series of, some of them are just meh, and others are downright not for me. What’s consistent though is the neat artwork and the furry theme, so if you find yourself charmed by the cover, give it a look.
Some content warnings off the top of my head (been a while since I read this): dubious consent via a love potion, student/teacher relationship, and this one story with characters that are not actually related but definitely has a twincest-y vibe (and features pretty young characters in a borderline sexual situation.)

A nice anthology of animal mage boys in love. Most of the stories are about crushes and pre-relationship stuff and rarely we see a couple actually get together. It’s all about feelings and those little moments between people. I liked how all of the short stories took place in the same school around the same time and some characters or events were recurring ones and we’d see them again in the later chapters. It was nice to see how some characters from earlier were doing after their story or how they looked from someone else’s point of view. The characters really are animals instead of just looking like them and have their different animalistic tendencies depending on their species. Actually, the animalistic parts play an important role in the stories: we have a cold-blooded lizard boy not being able to regulate his own body temperature and thus having to rely all winter on his mammalian roommate who has a crush on him, a giant wolf boy biting his goat crush while sleeping, bat boys sharing food mouth-to-mouth but finding new sensations when adding a tongue to the now-kiss etc etc. It brings more interesting flavors to the story compared to if the characters were just humans looking like animals.
This is a book of mostly nice and simple love stories. Recommended read for those who don’t mind anthropomorphic animals.
