A breathtaking webtoon. The art is so detailed and rich that it really made me think that this is what webtoons strive to be.
Storywise, I did think it moved really fast through time but that could be because I am used to reading manga. The characters are as rich as the art, and that is probably one of its biggest strength.
If anyone is sensitive to this, it does have child abuse in the story so be warned. But overall The King’s Maker doesn’t have a lot of R-18 scenes of sex if you wanted to read something not heavy on that.

Trigger warning – Child abuse (In EVERY way. Don’t see it, but is mentioned and makes everyone in story feel as uncomfy as you will)
I’ve heard everyone talk about this series in the highest regard and now I finally know why. This first part of the story is incredibly plot heavy, but incredibly well written. You will find yourself rooting for Wolfgang to become King with Shoohyuk’s help to overthrow the rotten country. The romance is all ages and not too prevalent due to multiple reasons, but is clearly going to step up in Triple Crown.
