The Supernatural and fantasy elements are strong in this one. It’s set in limbo and really drags you into the world at full force. The first volume deals alot with Calen coming to terms with his new afterlife. You can see that his battle-hardened heart is starting to heal with Makoto’s help and it’s really sweet watching them both become happier, healthier people with each other.

Left this series mostly feeling “meh.” I think it could’ve really interesting if it was longer and there was more time to explore the world and develop the characters. But most BL series unfortunately don’t get that kind of time.
As it was, I did enjoy the unique premise and the art was pretty good. But it mostly left me wanting more, and not in a good way.
