“You rescued me from a world without sound. If it wasn’t for you, I never would’ve known the world was such an amazing place!”
Because of a hearing disability, university student Kohei had made a habit of distancing himself from those around him. But after meeting the exceedingly cheerful Taichi, he gradually begins to embrace a more positive outlook on life. Kohei eventually begins to see Taichi as more than a friend, and after he finally confesses his love to Taichi, the feelings become mutual.
In this new addition to the I Hear the Sunspot series, Kohei continues on as a student, while Taichi makes his way out into the working world to pursue his own calling and the two begin a new life together!
1 review for I Hear the Sunspot: Limit Volume 1 by Yuki Fumino
Rated 5 out of 5
Phya –
Direct sequel to I Hear the Sunspot: Theory of Happiness.
Finally free from the grasp of one shots, we finally get progress! Everything is full steam ahead on the love train for once, even if there are some bumps on the track.
The world of disabilities grows wider with our first, fully deaf character appearing along with issues hearing loss can cause with work being highlighted.
With Taichi having some direction in his life finally, Kohei also starts exploring his options. Not being as single minded, the world of ifs and maybes is much harder to deal with.
Ironically its refreshing to finally have cliffhangers, unresolved plot and drama to be overcome in the next volume. Will leave you desperately wanting the next volume.
