Takafumi often sees “him,” a man that is just his type, at his part-time job. Always in the same seat, always studying, Takafumi couldn’t help but notice him. When Takafumi moves into his friends dorm room, he discovers his new roommate is “him,” a college student named Fukumachi. Through a series of coincidences, Takafumi keeps crossing paths with Fukumachi and becomes more entangled with his life. This is…normal, right?

Pachi –
Ah, I love it when a manga makes me second guess myself about a character. Here we have a college student who seems lost in life and in love, who tries to please his girlfriend even though he has no sexual desire for her at the same time that he can’t stop thinking about the stranger he sees at work. At first I thought it would be used as an excuse to justify the protagonist’s bad behaviour, but fortunately the author surprised me in a positive way. No feelings are invalid in this manga.

I recommend this manga for people who are struggling with their sexuality. Takafumi’s journey is valid, more so Fukumachi supporting him no matter if he decides to move forward, go back or do a waltz. It’s one of my fave “progressive” BLs alongside Escape Journey.
