Trigger Warnings – EVERYTHING especially gore and physical and emotional abuse.
To say this is not a title for the faint of heart is an understatement. The extreme content in the preview chapters are a good indication of content throughout. It took myself 2-3 times to fully read the series but once I got past the earlier parts, I found myself absorbed.
It is very plot heavy which was a surprise. Discovering how they have developed to the people they are today, seeing them change as the story progresses but also the side story with the police department following murders. While there is plenty of sexual content, anyone wanting romance or relationships in any way would be best avoiding.
After reading it all, I feel like it has similar treatment to other notorious titles (e.g. Enzai) where there are plenty of stories of things that happen but no context to go with it and quite possibly spread by people who havn’t experienced the full thing. I enjoyed this alot more than I thought I would but if you take any of the crazy things that happen out of context, people would most likely question why you were reading. This is very much a psychological/straight horror first and foremost with BL as a sub genre rather than the other way round.
It is not a title you will ever forget for a variety of different reasons.

I couldn’t finish this one to the end because of the level of gore and horror in it. But I can see how people could really enjoy this series if they like horror. Like Phya said, it is really plot heavy which can draw you in. The art is also good in it’s own way, it just comes down to your comfort level on this one.
