The dramatic love story of four men whose lives have been turned upside down by a letter found in the pages of a borrowed book. Hirose, the kind-hearted (if rather thick-headed) university student, still feels insecure in his growing relationship with the publisher Hanashiro, while Hanashiro himself struggles to make peace with the trauma that changed the course of his life. Sawa, Hanashiro’s right-hand man, still has feelings for his flamboyant boss but finds himself increasingly drawn in by the quiet and serious student Arihara, whose delicate demeanor may conceal a surprising strength.
