Love Shuttle by Aeju

There’s a late bloomer, and then there’s a *late bloomer.* Doyun may be half Omega, but he certainly doesn’t look it: he’s tall, chiseled… But the worst of it all is that he’s a full-grown adult male who has yet to go into heat. He doesn’t see the problem, and everyone assumes he’s an Alpha, anyway. But when his body finally decides it’s “time,” it just happens to be at the most inopportune moment. He has no-one to turn to but his work rival, Taehan – but thankfully, Taehan is more than man enough to help him out.

My absolute favorite webtoon. This omegaverse is truly a treasure. Doyun is a “manly” omega while Taehan is a kind alpha. They clash hard to start with and of course Doyun goes into heat and they end up in bed together. But what’s so great about this is that it’s consensual. The dynamic between these two plays so well. I can’t recommend this one enough.

This was my first proper adventure into Omegaverse which was most probably helped by having a reversable couple and Doyun being a half omega. Does it exist in omegaverse lore? I don’t know, but if it means he can bench press more than Taehan and make him question his manliness, I’m all here for it.
They start out butting heads and the drama is normally related to Doyun being a late bloomer and needing to get lessons in omegaverse sex ed. Even past all this and the odd way they got together, they both care for each other deeply and take thier relationship seriously. The sexy times and frequent and hot.

This review might make me an odd man out. As an avid Omegaverse fan, this title doesn’t quite do it for me since I’m more used to Japanese omegaverse and not South Korean Omegaverse. The half omega factor threw me off and made me want for a more typical omegaverse story. I only made it halfway through the first season before giving up. The art is good and the characters are interesting, but it wasn’t enough to keep me going.

I think if you like more traditional omegaverse universe stories this might not be the one for you. If you are more open minded about how omegaverse should work, I think you might like this one.
