I originally thought this manga would just be a rape fantasy, but it also manages to skillfully develop the characters and their relationship with good storytelling. Metro tells the story of two quite damaged guys who get into a relationship that they both know is messed up, and how that relationship helps them grow. It’s not a manga for everyone, but I absolutely recommend it if you’re okay with the premise. The characters are intriguing and their development is quite good, specially for such a short manga, plus Hongo sensei’s art is beautiful, with really spicy sex scenes.

I had such high expectations for this manga, since I loved Setagaya Synchronicity, but it felt hollow in the end.
The set up is really good, two broken people in a terrible situation but making most of it anyway, but the plot doesn’t have a good payoff. The “ops i’m in love with you” from the seme felt really forced and the mom subplot was not resolved at all in the end.
I feel like this manga should have been longer to proper develop everything, it’s a shame 🙁
