Hitoshi Arai is just an average college student with a mediocre life. During high school, he was bullied for being fat and got stressed and anxious easily. He had hoped that college would give him a fresh new start, but he remains his ordinary lone self. One night on his way home from his part-time job, Hitoshi accidentally bumps his bag of groceries into a car. He immediately inspects the car to see if he left any scratches while internally musing about Aladdin’s story. He is surprised when the trunk of the car pries itself opens, revealing an intimidating figure of a man who proceeds to take advantage of Hitoshi by letting him stay at his home. Intimidated and scared, Hitoshi does what the man wants. The man introduces himself as ‘Mah’ and thus, begins complicating Hitoshi’s ordinary life.

Pachi –
I felt so bad, but I couldn’t stop laughing with all the bad things happening to the uke. The set up makes you to believe that the story will be way more darker than actually is. Their relantionship is far from healthy, but it’s interesting anyway.
This manga can easily hook you up and leave us wanting more.
(also, I NEED A YURI MANGA ABOUT THE UKE’S MOTHER)
guety –
Given the title, premise and cover, I expected this to be really dark but it turned out to be surprisingly sweet? The characters are well written and have an interesting development and the couple dynamic, while not unproblematic, it’s interesting to read, and I couldn’t help but root for them. Overall I enjoyed it a lot.

I went into this blind (I don’t read descriptions on Futekiya, I dive in) and I’m so glad I did. The cover and the opening chapter made me wonder if I had wandered into the wrong neighbourhood and had gotten involved with a dark, supernatural story. I enjoyed how the story ropes you along that plot path before finally showing it’s hand and explaining things such as Mah.
This review is so vague on the plot and characters because it feels like saying anything is a spoiler in its own right. It’s good to join Hitoshi on the rollercoaster and being as confused as is.
