(1 customer review)

Love is constantly changing, never the same. Chishin, a gay monk, stuck in his own thought of “I will never falling in love again”, because of his past trauma. But a free-spirited new trainee Keijyu brought a tornado into Chishin’s heart. Confused by the pure and free words and action of Keiju. Black-haired cute Keiju brings Chishin back the feelings of love. Monk costumes! A true boy’s love story! The monks put their full hearts into love and self-development.

I actually enjoyed reading this a lot but was let down by it’s editing. The first of the two stories tackles the question of can there be love between two Buddhist monks? It felt like it would have benefited from being a full volume, but I liked the chemistry between the main leads. Getting to learn about their training and day to day life (in manga land at least) was really interesting and had me hooked.
The second story is about a salaryman with a fetish for rubbing one out in the work toilet. He gets caught by the cleaner, cleaner joins in, happy days. The two in one volume was like having chocolate and vanilla but it didn’t feel out of place like it can in some anthologies. What was out of place however, was the editing of the second story. Maybe it’s because there was so many technical terms in the first part, but in the second the awkward English stood out by a mile. I found myself needing to go back and reread panels constantly and got used to automatically correcting other stuff in my head. It made it really hard to enjoy the second story which was a massive shame because this would be at least a solid 3 otherwise.
