Advice for Mutually Unrequited Love by Yuiji Aniya

(1 customer review)

When they were younger, cool, collected Kousuke was the one who asked tiny, adorable Hiraku to be his lover – even when Hiraku couldn’t quite understand what being lovers meant. Now that they’re older and hopefully wiser, can they finally figure out what they got wrong the first time?

  1. guety

The cover made me think this would be about vampires lol but I was wrong! The guy just has fangs for no reason. In any case, it’s an interesting story about two childhood friends dealing with the complicated feelings between them, and in a way, I found it more real than other childhood friends to lovers BL. The characters are pretty flawed and the development of their relationship is quite messy, but that’s the way teen love happens sometimes. All in all, it’s not a favorite but it’s a good read and Aniya Yuiji’s art is really pretty and striking.
