The super popular novel about a handsome young man getting involved with his boyish older brother is now a manga series!
Being an older brother is a lonely existence… Kanata, the older brother, has always been taken advantage of by his arrogant younger brother, Keita. To relieve his daily stress, Kanata works part-time at “Little Brother Cafe”, where working men, who are sick of this dog-eat-dog world, pay for young guys to act as their younger brothers and serve them.
Even though Kanata can’t tell anyone about this job, he’s happy to have his “older brothers” (regular clients) call him “cute” and say that they “love” him. But then, one day, Keita finds out about this part-time job…!

My first brocon series. Right off the bat I want to emphasize how much I enjoyed the relationship between the main characters and the way it evolved with their changing feelings. The little brother (the bigger guy) has a crush on his small and cute big brother from the beginning of the story but the older one has mixed feelings about his baby bro and how he is always supposed to give in to him and thus they don’t really get along. Their arguments are sibling-like but they do not seem to be that close. Things start to change, however, once the big bro starts to develop feelings for the younger one and their dynamic begins to gradually shift. The sibling-like behavior steps aside and the change feels surprisingly natural although a bit too fast. Also, both of the boys are very adorable together once their feelings are laid out for each other. Lots of cute blushing and heartbeats.
There is also a love triangle (or love corner) element in the story with one of the big bro’s former customers still trying to woo him. His attempts are uncomfortable and I like how he isn’t a threat to the couple because he’s a valid love rival (because he’s not) but because he could out the brothers’ relationship to others. Though right now he doesn’t feel too big of a threat.
All in all, this is a nice romance series recommended for those who don’t mind brocon stories with shotacon elements. If you are looking for a story where the couple agonizes over being related and thus won’t proceed fast with their relationship, this isn’t it, but those looking for a cute and fun brothers to lovers manga should give this a go.
