If you’ve read Thanat’s Here and There and Us prior to this it’ll be shocking to find the author’s debut was something this dark. This appeals to fans of a very specific fetish, but for everyone else this sure raises some uncomfortable questions.

I think this is a complicated BL. A fair warning, this BL as instances of violence between the Misaki and Kushiro. But it isn’t nonconsentual and this manga explores where violence exists in a relationship.
I give it five stars because the development of their relationship is really fascinating to read. Something like this is probably easy to mess up and make Kushiro seem like a basic bad guy. But, I was surprised how human the mangaka makes everyone.
