  1. guety

This is a lovely slice of life manga with a very, veeeeery slow burn romance. As a slice of life, there’s not a lot going on in terms of plot, focusing mainly on the main characters’ school life, their struggles with university entrance exams, their relationship with other classmates and above all it shows how the relationship between the two main characters slowly grows and changes and how they change with it. The romance is way more subdued and subtle than in most BL, so if you want a fast-paced story with intense feelings, this might not be the manga for you. However, the character development is very well done, and it’s a really sweet and relatable story.

  2. Paul

This title is unique as it originally appeared in a seinen magazine, and that is reflected in the pacing and dialogue. More the slow-burn is not typical in BL, which makes you want to cheer for the couple as you turn every page. It could be any high school kid’s awakening story if you think about it.

  3. Anonymous

This manga deserves to be on everyone’s to read list, for BL fans and non BL fans. Sonoki and Majima have such a sweet relationship and watching it grow from friendship to something more is amazing.

The pacing is a lot different than BL. It is a lot slower but the slowness is important.

This is the slowburn everyone deserves.
